How in the world can those icons be used for a business or company site and in the content of the site to post a link to MouseRunner.com? They are beautiful but imposible to use on a company web site because of the link stuff….

Ken is a great person to talk to, he is kind, witty, funny and I love his icon and graphic creations. I am a huge “fan” of him and his work.

Ken Saunders is VERY involved in Spreading Firefox. He’s also good with graphics and has an awesome site with loads of free content and resources. He is nice and welcomes new members to the Spread Firefox community.

Actually, I got in touch with Ken after I read your first post about his icons, saw the link to accessifyfirefox.com, checked it out and was really impressed. I’m still working on the massive second and third pieces of my accessibility series so his input has been invaluable. It’s a much different perspective you get from someone dealing with this stuff everyday than from most of the web “experts” who write about it to no end in their blogs.

I wish it were still a small internet. If we build our own little communities I think it can be. We just need to stop letting corporations build them for us and bloggers need to stop being obsessed with numbers. The “Global Village” didn’t work out… so let’s make global villages instead. I’m waiting on Web 2.x, Amish Edition.

Wow, we must be really wasting all Ken’s time between the two of us, Kirk… I’ve been interviewing him with a billion questions about accessibility issues and you’ve been drilling him about icons, lol. I had no idea we were both interviewing him. It just goes to show how much attention this guy deserves. Ken rocks!

For the record, I have to say ClearCons are likely still my fav series, but the Gmail icon alone from PrimaryCons make it worth the download. Subtle little trick there that worked extremely well.

So the big unasked question is… are plans in the works for Ken to make a Firefox theme of his own?

I’ve known Ken for a year and a half now and during that time I’ve learned what a great guy he really is, you rock dude!

Ken’s effort and time supporting Mozilla at http://www.spreadfirefox.com where I’m one of the admins proves Ken is probably Firefox’s number one Fan!
