Version 0.02 has been released addressing much of the feedback received over the past week. New in this version is the ability to automatically insert your fingerprint at the start or end of a post, or at the end of the first paragraph of every post. Of course, you can still use the Fingerprint button in the Write Post dialogue. However, the option to automatically insert your fingerprint takes precedence over any placement defined in the editor on a per post basis. Also added was the ability to search BlogLines for any reference of your fingerprint, and some general code cleanup. Be sure to read install, setup, and usage details on the main post.

I tried your plugin but I am not sure its working right. Im using the latest wordpress version from SVN and i know they have been playing with the database so something might change for the upcoming version. Ive also notice when I went to the Manage -> DigitalFingerPrint page it doesnt show up anything. It almost feels like there it no initialization of that page. I am no coder but can look around for small stuff. If you would like me to do something, just let me know. Cheers.

Hi Benoit,
By all means! See if you can dig up something as to why the plugin doesn’t work in the latest SVN, that would be great. The main thing this plugin relies on is the MagPieRSS embedded in wordpress — if that has been tinkered with, then maybe it will break this plugin. I’ll get the latest SVN and try it out too. I cannot find my fingerprint in any blog post even when they are new (and so posted after the installation). How do I get them in?
And is there a way to get older entries extened with the finger print?
