I am studying for the CST (Content Specialty Test) Social Studies as part of my studies at D’youville College (pronounced c.awl.edge). I also have to take one US history course OR pass a CLEP test about US history. Both exams are multiple choice and on the same topics (one slightly more focused on US history). Mostly for myself, I am starting link list of good sites that I can learn from. A premuim is placed sites that are easy to print off.
Feel free to add or suggest links that may help, or your comments regarding the validity / usefulness of the links present.

The following resources have been recommended as being very useful for studying and passing the CST. Links to the Amazon page for both American and Canadian customers are provided. Note that in some cases it is cheaper to order and pay duty (should it be applied):
- Don’t Know Much about History - US
/ Canada
- by Kenneth Davis — a very engaging book with quick easy to read chapters. Its written in a very upbeat manner, pretty much the exact oppisite of a typical history textbook.
- Don’t Know Much about History AudioBook - US
/ Canada
- also by Kenneth Davis — Its the same book as above, only this version reads to you. Perfect for those long drives between the hood (err DYC) and the nice place you call home. You are stuck in the car anyway right?
Thanks to all those who continue to help (Kenny). If you would like to add something, please let me know.
